Our Local Farmers' Market
The shopping is great at the Farmers' Market in Highland Park. 
There are fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, lots of treats such as flavored nuts and "gourmet tamales", and live festive music. You can do your shopping there, support the community, chat with your neighbors and have fun all at the same time! The market takes place Tuesdays 3-8pm at the corner of Avenue 57 and Marmion Way.
This postcard shows how Mount Washington looked in the early 1900's. The street heading out toward the ocean is San Rafael Avenue, and the cross street Elyria Drive.
